Dear Jana\nBased on a review of your medical history, detailed exam of your hair and scalp, and laboratory test(s), the cause of hair loss is most likely X\nControlling the cause (s) of your hair loss is one the most important part of your treatment \nIron deficiency & Anemia, Hormonal imbalances and stress are major causes \n Androgenetic alopecia or hereditary hair thinning is the most common form of hair loss in humans\nThis condition is also known as male-pattern hair loss or common Hair loss in men and as female-pattern hair thinning in women that controlled by minoxidil\nThe main culprit of pattern hair loss for women is dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a derivative of the male hormone testosterone. When it gets inside hair follicles it damages them. The drug finasteride (Propecia) reduces DHT. Doctors advise women of childbearing age to never take it.
